Flash Card Banner

This idea for a banner is too cute and was .... borrowed from another great blog:  www.notimeforflashcards.com.

We purchased these Care Bear flash cards at the Dollar Tree.  My original idea was to make a book with them, but when I saw the idea for the banner, I just had to do it.  My daughter helped me by putting the flash cards in order, but you could also have the children try putting the ribbon through the holes (just like lacing cards).

Monday Morning Countdown

And what are we counting down to?  Monday Night Football, of course.  Go Patriots!

Now that I got that out of the way, here's a great activity to help you use up all those stickers, while creating a work of art.

Draw your numbers or print them on the computer.  You can do as many numbers, as you wish.  We did 1-8 only because that is all I could fit on one page.  Give your child (ren) some stickers and have them put one sticker on the number one, two stickers on the number two, etc.

After you are done creating a work of art, you can practice counting all the stickers on the page.
