I created a lot of activities while in College, which was seriously 20 (alright maybe 15 plus) years ago. I don't know how it could be that long. This is amazing to me because I still have so many of these activities, and they are in pretty good shape.
I spent a lot of time on these activities, laminated all the pieces, and placed them in manila file folders in a storage box. We take them out every once in awhile, and it's like Christmas for my daughter and myself. We love going through the box, and seeing all the things that I did so long ago.
Here's one that I would love to make into a file folder game, but of course the pieces are so big, I couldn't even fit two apple trees in there.
I used templates from "The Mailbox Big Book of Patterns" I think. My memory is somewhat clouded since it was 15 plus years ago. I put pieces of velcro on the tree trunk and the back of the tree top.
This activity includes the numbers 1-5. Although I would have loved it if these fit into a file folder, my daughter really enjoys the larger size.

The above two stories are very similar in that they discuss the four seasons, and how the apple tree changes with each season.
